Musical Composition

I sketched out the initial concepts for the theme on the piano.

In a quick sketch, I can discover melodic lines I like, as well as ways to branch off and create new themes and motifs.

Final Score

Now with a full string section and a flute in addition to the piano, I can create a fuller, more emotionally evocative sound.

At this point, I was able to find a theme not just for the main character, Bo, but also for his love interest, Lea. Her theme was constructed to fit perfectly into Bo’s like a call and response.
